How to Store Your DIY Body Butter

Proper storage is essential to ensure the longevity and effectiveness of your DIY body butter. Here are a few tips to help you store and preserve your creation:

  • Use clean airtight containers to store your body butter. Glass jars with airtight lids or plastic containers with screw-on caps work well.
  • Store in a cool, dry place to prevent your body butter from melting or becoming rancid. A bathroom cabinet or a cool pantry is ideal for preserving the quality of your body butter. To help it last longer, it might be best to store it in the fridge.
  • Although DIY body butter made with natural ingredients doesn’t contain preservatives, it can stay fresh for a reasonable period. Aim to use your body butter within six months to maximize its effectiveness.
