St. John’s Wort is a hardy perennial herb native to Europe but now found in many parts of the world. The plant gets its name from St. John the Baptist, as it typically flowers around late June.

The small, star-shaped, yellow blossoms contain potent natural compounds. These active compounds are known for their anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and nerve-soothing effects.
