I love making soap -especially since I get to pick my own ingredients allowing me to know what’s exactly in my product. Plus I get to experiment with different flavors and ingredients – like hibiscus.

Here’s how you can make your very own DIY Homemade Hibiscus Soap.

Ingredients

This makes 2 soaps if using the same mold.

DIY Hibiscus Soap Recipe

  1. Cut your melt and pour soap base into tiny squares.

  1. Add small squares into a glass jar and melt it slowly in your microwave. in the microwave on low heat for 30 seconds at a time. Stir in between until it completely melts.  You can also do this on the stove top.

  1. Once melted, add in the hibiscus powder and stir until it is well combined.

  1. Add your essential oils once it has cooled down a bit. Continue to stir until well combined. We used a lavender essential oil.

  1. Pour into your soap mold and let sit for a few hours or overnight.

Once it sets, you can unmold and enjoy this soap.
