I love making soap -especially since I get to pick my own ingredients allowing me to know what’s exactly in my product. Plus I get to experiment with different flavors and ingredients – like hibiscus.
Here’s how you can make your very own DIY Homemade Hibiscus Soap.

Ingredients
- ½ lb melt and pour soap base
- 15 drops lavender essential oils
- 2 tablespoons hibiscus powder
- Soap mold
This makes 2 soaps if using the same mold.

DIY Hibiscus Soap Recipe
- Cut your melt and pour soap base into tiny squares.

- Add small squares into a glass jar and melt them slowly in your microwave. It is on low heat for 30 seconds at a time. Stir in between until it completely melts. You can also do this on the stovetop.

- Once melted, add in the hibiscus powder and stir until it is well combined.

- Add your essential oils once it has cooled down a bit. Continue to stir until well combined. We used lavender essential oils.

- Pour into your soap mold and let sit for a few hours or overnight.

Once it sets, you can unmold and enjoy this soap.
