I love using natural products because they really work. Plus, they are much more affordable than store-bought products – and you know exactly what’s in them. This rose petal apple cider vinegar face toner is a perfect example.

Toners are good for your skin because they can help to improve clarity and remove residual oil and impurities. This helps your skin better absorb any serums or moisturizers you apply afterward.

The beauty of this recipe is that it combines all-natural ingredients—apple cider vinegar with rose petals. Apple cider vinegar is an excellent toner because it balances the skin’s natural pH and helps exfoliate it. It can also improve acne and acne scars and remove excess oils left behind after cleansing.

Here’s a quick and easy DIY to make this effective and natural skin toner.

Why Make a Skin Toner?

Having a well-rounded skincare routine is essential for maintaining healthy and glowing skin. Here are some reasons why you should consider a toner:

  • A toner acts as a vital intermediary step between cleansing and moisturizing, helping to balance the skin’s pH levels and remove any remaining impurities.
  • It has the ability to minimize the appearance of pores. Toners work by tightening the skin, reducing the size of enlarged pores, and giving your complexion a smoother and more refined look.
  • Toners help to restore the skin’s natural pH balance, which harsh cleansers or environmental factors can disrupt.
  • Its ability to improve the absorption of other skincare products. Prepping the skin with a toner creates a clean canvas for serums, moisturizers, and treatments to penetrate more deeply and effectively. This can lead to better results and a more noticeable improvement in your skin’s overall health and appearance.
  • Lastly, toners can provide hydration and nourishment to the skin. Many toners are formulated with moisturizing ingredients, helping to replenish and lock in moisture. This is especially beneficial for individuals with dehydrated skin, as toners can provide an extra layer of hydration without adding heaviness or greasiness.
