You’ll need giant marshmallows, neutral-flavored crackers, and a few toppings to bring your snowmen to life. It’s a great activity to do with kids, as they can help decorate and come up with their own snowman designs. These Melting Snowman Cookies are a simple yet festive way to add some cheer to your holiday season.

Ingredients:
- 4 rectangular cookies
- 4 large marshmallows
- 1 small marshmallow for the pompom
- 16 drops of white chocolate
- 2 yellow + 2 brown sunflower seeds
- 8 chocolate chips for eyes
- 2 candies
- 2 pink meringues
- 1-2 pretzel sticks for hands

How to Make Melted Snowman Cookies
- Prepare the Hats: Lay out the candy and meringues on a board. Cut small marshmallows into quarters using scissors. Lightly moisten the cut ends of the marshmallows with water, then press them onto the tops of the meringues and candies to create “pom-poms” for the hats. Break pretzel sticks into small pieces to use later.
- Set Up the Cookies: Place your cookies on a microwave-safe plate. Add about 4 small drops of melted white chocolate to the center of each cookie.
- Add the Marshmallows: Place a large marshmallow on top of the chocolate and press down gently—microwave on full power for about 30 seconds. If the marshmallows deflate or shift, adjust them back into place. The marshmallow should puff up and the chocolate should melt. If needed, microwave for an additional 10-20 seconds.
- Decorate the Snowmen: Before the marshmallows cool, quickly insert the pretzel sticks to form arms. Add sunflower seeds or small pieces of candied fruit for the nose, and use chocolate chips for the eyes. Place the prepared hat on top of the marshmallow. Use a food-safe marker to draw a mouth.

Repeat these steps to prepare the remaining snowmen, and then arrange them on a serving plate.

The snowmen can be beautifully wrapped and used for a cookie exchange. Have a Merry Christmas!
