Homemade Jasmine and Shea Body Butter Recipe

Discover the natural goodness of shea butter for healthy, glowing skin. This DIY body butter recipe, enriched with jasmine oil, is easy to make and perfect for addressing various skin concerns.

Equipment

  • Measuring cup- glass
  • 8-ounce mason jar
  • Pot (to speed up the infusion process)

Ingredients
  

  • Refined shea butter
  • Dried Jasmine Flowers
  • Almond Oil
  • Jasmine essential oil
  • Cheesecloth or strainer (for straining the flowers from the oil)
  • Spoon (to mix together)

Instructions
 

  • To infuse the almond oil with jasmine flowers, place the almond oil and flowers in a small mason jar or other airtight container and let it sit for at least a week, shaking daily.
  • Once the oil is infused, strain the flowers from the oil using a strainer or cheesecloth over the jar’s top.
  • Add ½ a cup of refined shea butter in a measuring cup. Microwave it in 30-second intervals, checking each time until it is fully melted.
  • Pour the melted shea butter into the infused oil mixture. Add approximately 30 drops of jasmine essential oil. Then, stir the mixture thoroughly.
  • Cover the mason jar and place it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. After chilling, the body butter is ready to use. You can now enjoy your homemade shea body butter!
