- garlic
- 2 cups water
- lemon
- honey – for sweetness
- mug
Peel 4-5 cloves of fresh garlic. Slice them into smaller pieces or crush them using a garlic press or the back of a knife.
Put 2 cups of water to boil in a saucepan.
Add the freshly cut garlic to the saucepan to boil. Boil for 5 minutes, then turn off the stove.
Let the garlic steep for a few minutes. The longer it steeps, the stronger the tea will be.
After steeping, strain the garlic tea into a cup to remove the garlic solids. You can also opt to keep some of the clove, which is what I did.
Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a teaspoon of honey to your garlic tea for a tangy and sweet flavor.
