Dandelion Flower Tea Recipe

- Fresh Dandelion Flowers (handful)
- 2 cups Water
- Honey, Maple Syrup, or Sugar for sweetening (Optional)
Boil 2 cups water in a pot or kettle.
Rinse the dandelion flowers while the water is boiling to remove dirt or small insects. This is especially important if you foraged the flowers yourself.
Place the dandelion petals in a teapot or a heat-safe glass container.
Pour the boiling water over the petals.
Allow the tea to steep for about 5-8 minutes. The longer it steeps, the more intense the flavor will be.
Strain the tea to remove the petals.
For added sweetness, you can add honey, sugar or maple syrup.
