DIY Rose Petal Oil
I love making infused oils—they’re incredibly easy to create and smell absolutely amazing. This rose-infused oil is perfect for both skincare and hair care routines.
- Rose petals I prefer to use fresh roses from the garden, but you can also purchase dried rose petals online. It will have the same effect.
- Carrier oil You can use jojoba oil, coconut oil, or olive oil.
Add rose petals into a glass jar.
Pour carrier oil to cover the petals completely.
Let it infuse for 4 to 6 weeks.
Strain the infused oil into a jar to remove the rose petals.
How to Use Rose Petals Infused Oil
There are so many ways that you can use your homemade rose oil. Personally I love using it as a moisturizer or body rub. But here are some other ways you can use this rose petal oil:
- Use as a base for your DIY scrubs, lip balms, lotions, or salves.
- Add a tablespoon to warm bathwater for a skin-softening soak.
- Gently rub your cuticles and nails to strengthen and hydrate them.
- Dab a little onto your wrists and neck for a light, natural fragrance.
- Use it as a pre-shampoo scalp massage oil or apply a small amount to the ends of your hair to reduce frizz and add shine.
