Have a useful idea to share with the Homestead How-To community? We accept select guest posts and sponsored contributions from writers, businesses, and brands with expertise relevant to homesteading and self-sufficient living.

Our goal is simple: publish practical, informative content that helps our readers learn something new, solve a problem, or become more confident doing things themselves.

Topics We’re Looking For

We’re especially interested in practical how-to and informational content related to:

  • Homesteading
  • Gardening and growing food
  • Backyard chickens and poultry
  • Hobby farming
  • Sustainable and simple living
  • DIY projects
  • Food preservation and canning
  • Cooking from scratch
  • Home and property maintenance
  • Self-sufficiency
  • Farm and garden equipment
  • Other topics closely related to the homesteading lifestyle

Have an idea that doesn’t fit neatly into one of these categories? We’re still happy to consider it if it’s a strong fit for our readers.

Links and Author Bios

Approved contributors may include a relevant link to their website or business when it naturally supports the article. You may also submit a short author bio with your website and social media information.

We do not permit affiliate links within guest posts.

Links and websites are reviewed before publication, and we reserve the right to reject any link that doesn’t meet our editorial standards.
