Cherry Banana Nut Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

– 2/3 cup seedless cherries (frozen or fresh) – 1 1/2 tbsp. vegan protein powder – 1 medium banana – 20-25 macadamia nuts – 1/2 cup purified water

Peel the macadamia nuts.

Step 1

Put some of the peeled academia nuts in the blender with water. Keep some to the site for garnishing. Blend with the immersion blender until smooth.

Step 2

Peel and slice the banana. Add a few slices to the macadamia nut mixture, and keep a few to the side for garnishing.

Step 3

Add the cherries and vegan powder to the mixture. Whisk the smoothie until smooth.

Step 4

Transfer the smoothie to a serving bowl.

Step 5

Garnish the smoothie mixture with the remaining bananas, nuts, and cherries.

Step 6

Feel free to sweeten it with a bit of honey or maple syrup.
